Veronica Duran is the Senior Diversity & Social Inclusion Advisor (Vic/Tas) at CPB Contractors. Her expertise lies in gender, LGBTQAI+ inclusion, and working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations. She joined the construction industry in 2022 as the Diversity and Inclusion Lead for the Spark North East Link project, where she led gender initiatives such as work experience programs, networking events, the Pride Committee, and the setup of nursing and prayer rooms across every site and office of the project, among others. With nearly eight years in the non-profit sector, she focused on employment programs for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.

Veronica is originally from Mexico City, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology and holds a Master's in Special Education. After migrating to Australia, her career took a 180-degree turn, transforming the challenges she faced in finding employment into her area of expertise. Now she is a passionate advocate for women and migrants, volunteering as an employment mentor for Professional Migrant Women (PMW), sharing her experiences to support and empower others in their professional journeys.
