With 10 years' experience in build-to-rent and student accommodation development, Stephen Dodd is a Senior Development Manager at Assemble: an end-to-end housing company that originates, delivers and manages sustainable, well-designed housing investment opportunities on behalf of institutional investor clients by partnering across government, industry and the community housing sector.

Joining the team in 2021, Stephen leads the delivery of Assemble's residential projects, guiding them from acquisition through to completion. His notable projects include Assemble's award-winning 15 Thompson Street, Kensington and 4 Ballarat Street, Brunswick, and he now leads the delivery of Parcel B and C at Fitzroy Gasworks, one of Melbourne's most significant urban renewal precincts, comprising over 1,000 mixed-tenure homes. Earlier in his career, Stephen managed high-rise developments for Scape Living and Atira, and in 2025 he was named winner of the UDIA Victoria Young Leader Award.
