Simeon Lloyd
Simeon is an experienced design and sustainability leader with over 25 years in the construction industry, including significant work across live environments, government precincts and high-performance buildings. As Multiplex’s Sustainability Manager, he combines his technical design background with industry-leading expertise in environmental performance, Green Star, NABERS, and embodied carbon reduction.
Simeon has been instrumental in driving sustainability outcomes on projects such as 308 Exhibition Street, the Melbourne Convention Centre, and Monash University’s Biomedical Learning & Teaching Building. He brings specific expertise in carbon modelling, having developed Multiplex’s internal Embodied Carbon Calculator (Modules A1–A3) and Site Operation Carbon Calculator (Module A5), which are now used nationally to inform sustainable design pathways. Simeon also advises Multiplex’s Global ESG Working Group and is a Green Star Associate.
Simeon leads sustainability design integration, carbon and ESG strategy, and practical application of climate-positive and circular economy principles, ensuring the event’s infrastructure aligns with ambitious carbon, material and whole-of-life performance targets.
