Scott is the Director of Engineering and Innovation at Major Roads Projects Victoria (MRPV), a government agency responsible for delivery of road projects within Victoria.  Scott has over 20 years’ experience in both the government and private sector, having previously lead bridge and transport teams at Jacobs, SMEC and VicRoads.

Scott’s technical capability centres around bridge and road design, construction, and maintenance, with extensive experience in leading design teams in delivery of large transport infrastructure related projects.  Scott has led the delivery of numerous iconic and technically complex projects within Victoria including strengthening of the West Gate Bridge (2007 to 2011), widening of the E.J. Whitten Bridge (2015 to 2016), and upgrade of the Ballarat Rail Line (2016 to 2018).  Scott also leads a number of technical initiatives focused on reform to standards and specifications, as well as developing technical requirements and specifications for new and emerging products including those made from recycled materials and with low carbon emissions.
