Sally Capp AO is Hickory’s Chief Strategy Officer. She is a respected business and civic leader with extensive public and private sector experience. A former Lord Mayor of Melbourne (2018–2024), Sally was the first woman directly elected to the role and led the city through the pandemic. She previously served as Victoria’s first Agent-General in London, Executive Director of the Property Council of Australia, CEO of the Committee for Melbourne, and held senior leadership roles at ANZ and KPMG. Sally brings deep expertise in government, industry and stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on the future of Australia’s built environment, including housing affordability, workforce development and innovation in construction. She is also an active contributor to the not-for-profit sector and currently serves as patron of the Royal Women’s Hospital Foundation and The Lighthouse Foundation.
