Ross Jamieson is a respected leader in Australia’s gas and energy sector, with senior experience spanning manufacturing, policy engagement and industry advocacy. As long-standing President and now CEO of the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association of Australia (GAMAA), he has represented manufacturers and worked closely with government, regulators and stakeholders on appliance standards, safety and energy policy.

A former AGIT Director and now as AGIT Executive Officer, he brings deep familiarity with the AGIT’s mission and programs, contributing strategic insight and strong industry relationships to advance research, education and capability development across the sector.

Ross represents the interests of Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association of Australia (GAMAA) with the work he does with Standards Australia. Ross is the chair of AG-001 ‘Gas Appliances’ and its sub-committee AG-001-02, in addition to his role as chair of AG-013 ‘Components used for Gas Appliances and Equipment’ which is also the mirror committee to ISO/TC 161 “Controls and protective devices for gas and/or oil
