Rochelle Richardson is an experienced People & Culture leader with over 19 years of HR experience across complex and high-risk industries, including construction, coal, oil & gas, and international operations. Currently based in Melbourne Victoria, Rochelle is known for her pragmatic, values-driven approach to workforce strategy, leadership capability, and organisational culture.

Before transitioning into HR, Rochelle served 20 years in the New Zealand Defence Force, where she built a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and operational excellence. Her military service included multiple operational deployments, earning her six medals—a testament to her commitment, resilience, and service under pressure. This background continues to shape her leadership style, particularly her focus on accountability, trust, and purpose.

Throughout her HR career, Rochelle has partnered closely with senior leaders to deliver people strategies aligned to business outcomes. Her expertise spans employee relations, workforce transformation, leadership development, and the design of compelling Employee Value Propositions (EVPs). She is particularly passionate about creating environments where people feel valued, supported, and clear on how their work contributes to broader organisational impact.
