Robert is the founding Partner of Gray Puksand. His continued commitment to the importance of high-quality professional services, and the development of efficient organisational structures, has been integral to the reputation of our studio as a major Australian architectural firm.
Robert works across a variety of project types including masterplanning, commercial and retail projects. In each case, he brings a deep philosophy and understanding of architecture; this pre-occupation with strategy in design allows Robert to deliver an outcome highly sought by clients. With an international and contemporary view of design, Robert ensures global trends and the latest thinking can be applied to the studio’s projects for the benefit of our clients.
As past President of the Australian Institute of Architects (Victorian Chapter), Robert championed the value of design to all levels of the community and government. Recognising the importance of good urban design, in 2011 Robert established the Victorian Chapter Urban Design Committee
