Rajiv Shah is a director of the Australian Information Security Association, Australia’s peak body for cyber security professionals. He is also the Managing Director of MDR Security, helping clients to make technology understandable, effective and safe and secure to use. In addition, he is a Fellow of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, an adviser to CAN.B Group and a member of various other boards. He has a PhD in quantum physics from Cambridge University, and 30 years of experience in cyber security, working for government and commercial clients across the globe. He was the inaugural Australian country director for BAE Systems cyber security business, and has held a range of technical and commercial leadership roles and advise senior executives and board members in government and commercial organisations. His work has spanned cyber security strategy and architecture, big data and artificial intelligence, quantum technology, telecommunications and cloud technology.
