Peter is the Chief Executive Officer for the Backflow Prevention Association of Australia Inc. (BPAA) which encompasses the Legionella Management Advisory Group (LMAG).

A not-for-profit association striving to advance industry standards, foster collaboration among professionals, and ensure the integrity of water systems through development of training material, advocacy, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

He has presented papers at conferences nationally and internationally on industry subjects related to protecting the water supply, backflow prevention and demand management.

Peter spent over three years with the Australian Building Codes Board working to develop the National Construction Code, Volume Three, The Plumbing Code of Australia in conjunction with the Australian States and territories.

He has authored numerous articles in trade publications both nationally and internationally on water supply topics.

Peter is a Director at Large on the Board of the American Backflow Prevention Association, was awarded the Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland WFI Industry Leadership award in 2018 and is a life member of the Backflow Prevention Association of Australia Inc. (BPAA)
