Noel Munkman is the Technical and Training Manager at the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC). With a distinguished career spanning over five decades starting as a refrigeration and air conditioning apprentice. Noel is a leader in refrigeration and air conditioning education, training and industry development. Holding a Master of Adult Education and multiple technical qualifications, he is a member of AIRAH and a recipient of prestigious awards, including the ARBS Hall of Fame (2022), ARBS Outstanding Industry Education/Training Award (2010), and AIRAH Presidents Award (2006). Noel has also played pivotal roles in WorldSkills Australia’s regional, national and international RAC competitions from 1989 to 2024, including as the International Refrigeration Chief Judge and Skill Competition Manager. His commitment to excellence and workforce advancement makes him, a highly respected voice in the sector.
