Michelle is an experienced non-executive board director and business advisor.

She currently is a Non-executive Director of Co-Invest as Trustee for the Construction Industry Long Service Leave Fund (trading as LeavePlus).  A Director of and Chair of the Finance, Risk and Audit committee for Frontier SI and Non-Executive Director and Chair of Risk and Audit of East Gippsland Water

She is the former Chief Commissioner of the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) and former Deputy Chair of the Country Fire Authority (CFA) a volunteer and community-based fire and emergency services organisation. She also has extensive knowledge of the water industry, serving as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of Risk and Audit of a East Gippsland Water.

From 1995 to 2018 Michelle was an executive/partner of Cornwall Stodart (Lawyers).

Throughout this period, Michelle also spent several years on various boards and committees including:

·       Mercy Health Foundation, a Catholic organisation providing compassionate health care to the community,

·       Overnewton Anglican Community College, an independent co-educational day school for over 2000 students,

·       Acom International, an importer and wholesaler of lifestyle products, and,

·       VECCI (Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), the peak body for business in Victoria, with over 15,000 members.

Michelle has comprehensive capability in the areas of risk management, strategic planning and management, human resource management, finance, audit, legal and corporate governance. Her ability to identify stakeholder risks and work collaboratively to generate solutions for reform, renewal and transformation has been developed over several years.  With highly developed people and management skills and significant experience managing board and board sub-committees.
