Maria is an enthusiastic and passionate civil engineer. Within her 7-year experience in the construction industry, Maria has been involved in several multimillion-dollar infrastructure and civil construction projects and maintenance contracts in both New Zealand and Australia. While at university and throughout her career, Maria has played an active role in promoting engineering through presentations and workshops to both primary and high school girls. Bringing the world of engineering to as many girls/women as possible has been a primary passion for Maria as she is a firm believer that women can make a positive and lasting impact to the industry in a unique way.
