Malin Lindblad
Malin leads the Sustainable Buildings and Precincts team at Mott MacDonald in Victoria. She comes from an engineering background and has led the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects across the buildings and precincts space within a variety of sectors. She is a strong communicator and drives collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups including architects, engineers, planners, private developers, local councils and government development agencies. In her work, Malin looks to challenge conventional design approaches and navigates interdisciplinary design impacts to achieve sustainability outcomes. Most recently, she spent 12 months in Sweden working with local government and councils to set a strategy and process to manage energy planning and resilience to meet population increase and a shift towards electrification whilst adapting to climate change and a shifting political landscape impacting energy supply.
