Statement: As a Workplace Mental Health Strategist and the Founder of MM Complete Wellbeing Global, I have spent over 20 years supporting leaders and frontline teams in high-risk, high-pressure industries—including construction, mining, aviation, and logistics. My passion is helping organisations move beyond surface-level wellbeing efforts to embed mental health into operational culture, leadership practice, and safety outcomes. The construction industry, with its fast-paced deadlines, transient workforce, and physically demanding environments, remains one of the highest-risk sectors for stress, burnout, and mental illness. Yet, mental health is often still viewed as a secondary issue—reactive rather than proactive. My work centres around changing this narrative. Through our trademarked SAFE Pillars™ Framework, we help organisations in construction assess psychological safety risks, deliver tailored training, and build resilient, high-performing teams—from the boardroom to the building site. I believe that by equipping leaders, site managers, and teams with the tools to recognise, respond to, and reduce mental strain, we not only protect lives—we improve productivity, safety, and retention. I’m honoured to apply to be an Ambassador for Mental Health in Construction and am committed to using this platform to raise awareness, spark critical conversations, and drive meaningful change across the industry.
