Khadijah Aminuddin
Khadijah is a Senior Sustainability Engineer at Webuild as part of the SPARK consortium delivering the North East Link Tunnels – Primary Package. She takes a holistic approach to integrating sustainability into design and construction to deliver sustainable engineering solutions for complex infrastructure projects that are helping shape Victoria.
With expertise in whole of life carbon management, systems thinking and technical governance, Khadijah has been working closely with the tunnelling teams at SPARK NEL to support the project’s ambitious sustainability targets. She has helped to embed ESG principles into decision-making on the project that have driven cost savings, efficiency and better project outcomes in design, procurement and delivery.
She has been integral in achieving Australia’s first PAS2080 accreditation – the internationally recognised standard for managing and reducing carbon emissions across the lifecycle of infrastructure and built environment projects. She is also well-versed in delivering outcomes under the Victorian Government’s Recycled First Policy and nationally leading Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Ratings.
