John is an accomplished and results-driven leader in Construction and Modern Methods of Construction, boasting over 33 years of industry experience including 8 years dedicated to modular construction and prefabrication.

As the Prefabrication Manager at Kapitol Group, John assists in early planning and project delivery to identify opportunities to prefabricate construction components or introduce modular elements to expedite the delivery of works. He has joined Kapitol Group to serve as factory manager and project manager who will oversee Kapitol’s prefabrication projects managing the company’s offsite Prefabrication facility.

Throughout his career, John has worked for several leading Australian construction companies, gaining extensive experience across various sectors including hospitality, residential, aged care, commercial, sporting, industrial, and retail projects. This diverse portfolio has enabled him to build a vast network of successful relationships, optimising his roles in site management, project management, operations, and directorship. His ability to navigate and excel in different construction environments has been a key factor in his professional growth.

John’s innovative approach is informed by his observations of varied processes adopted by different construction companies, allowing him to develop a ‘best practice’ methodology. His energetic, intelligent, and driven nature, combined with a clear vision for a sustainable future, has been instrumental in his success.

Prior to joining Kapitol Group, John established an offsite manufacturing business focused on volumetric and panelised solutions for the construction sector. In 2017, John founded Cross Laminated Offsite Solutions Pty Ltd (CLOS) in Geelong, an offsite modular company that grew to a team of over 45 people by 2024. His key deliverables include recruiting skilled workers, implementing automated fabrication lines, strategising marketing plans, and providing excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and secure repeat business.
