Jamie McCutcheon
Jamie McCutcheon is a Principal at Genton and a leading Architect and Urban Designer in Victoria’s infrastructure sector. With over 20 years of experience delivering complex public, transport and urban renewal projects, Jamie specialises in designing integrated transport solutions that enhance both movement and place.
As a registered architect in Victoria, Tasmania, and the UK, and a qualified Rail Industry Architectural Subject Matter Expert, Jamie combines hands-on technical expertise with a deep understanding of community-focused design. His design leadership across the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) program — including Pakenham, Glenroy, Reservoir Station and Frankston Stations, the Hurstbridge Line Upgrade and the Berwick Multi-Level Carpark and Interchange — showcases his ability to deliver transformative infrastructure that supports urban vitality and long-term sustainability. Jamie has also played pivotal roles on the Suburban Rail Loop project and the Melbourne Airport Rail. His involvement with the North East Link Project (NELP), working with the Eastern Busway Burke to Tram Alliance (EBTA) further reflects his trusted advisory role across Victoria’s major transport initiatives.
Beyond project delivery, Jamie participates in the LXRP Urban Design Knowledge Share and engages actively with the Urban Design Advisory Panel and the Office of the Victorian Government Architect, advocating for integrated transport design that creates connected, resilient communities.
