Before joining WorkSafe in 2018, James worked as an A-Grade electrician in the construction industry. He also holds a Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion. Over the years, James has worked in several inspector-based roles at WorkSafe before moving into his current role as Principal Advisor of the Construction Support Unit. He now leads a team of fantastic construction advisors who support inspectors, develop practical guidance, engage with industry, and work towards making construction sites safer for everyone.
