James is the Managing Director of JMB Modular Buildings, following 11 years as Director of JMB Constructions before the business evolved in response to growing demand for modular construction across both commercial and residential sectors. After delivering their first modular project, JMB Modular Buildings was recognised at the Australian Construction Awards as runner-up for Off‑Site Project of the Year and shortlisted for Architectural Design of the Year.

James has worked in the building industry for 23 years and holds Building Practitioner registrations (CB‑L & DB‑U) across Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania and South Australia. Through extensive research - including international visits to modular manufacturing facilities - James and the team have developed advanced intellectual property that positions them to deliver medium‑rise MMC projects, including hotels and apartment buildings.
