Ian is the Engineering Manager at Aptus Construction Systems, where he leads a team of structural engineers delivering customized solutions for precast vertical elements. He began his career as a structural consultant at Bornhorst and Ward before moving into composite slab design and solution selling for BlueScope Steel. He liaises with structural consultancies nationally, providing advice on efficient design and detailing of precast elements. He has been involved in delivering over 100 large scale projects in the health, commercial, residential high rise, and data centre sectors.
