His expertise spans concept and masterplan development, adaptive reuse and sustainable design within complex urban environments.
Hayden's approach to design is shaped by a fascination with the psychology of architecture and how the built environment engages the senses to influence the way people feel in a space.
Most recently, Hayden led the Melbourne Walk redevelopment on Bourke Street Mall - a complex mixed-use project integrating retail and Australia's first IHG dual-branded hotel into one of Melbourne's most prominent public thoroughfares.
Beyond his project work, Hayden serves as RAP Champion within Buchan's Reconciliation Action Plan Working Group and as a Green Star Accredited Professional is instrumental in the studio's Sustainability Strategy.
