Harman Singh
Harman is the Head of Automation for APAC at GHD, where he works with senior stakeholders for GHD’s strategic clients to drive digital transformations and disruptive innovations that deliver lasting community benefits. He is embedded into the Hive Innovation Program at Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) and focuses on the operationalisation of innovations that support the authority’s objectives.
Harman brings with him over 24 years of global experience in C-suite and management roles with various technology-related businesses in the US, Dubai, India and Australia. Prior to joining GHD, Harman served as the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Brady Family of Companies in the US, where he led the organisation to be awarded the “Most Innovative Workplace” in North Carolina in 2017. Harman also co-founded a tech start-up for smart buildings built on world leading SAS analytics and AI, centralising the facilities management for a portfolio of buildings and implementing advanced technologies to enhance building operations.
Harman holds an MBA from London Business School and a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. He is a regular speaker on smart technologies, applied innovation and digital transformation. He serves on the Board for Australian Smart Communities Association (ASCA) and sits on Standards Australia’s committee for Smart City Systems to foster the development of standards and sharing of best practices in the ever-evolving space of smart and sustainable communities.
