Statement: I’m deeply passionate about mental health, particularly within the construction industry. I’ve personally experienced the challenges it can bring. Working in construction for over 20 years, I’ve seen firsthand how tough the environment can be — long hours, high pressure, and a culture that often discourages opening up. I believe everyone has a story to tell, and that mental health can affect absolutely anyone, no matter their background or position. My own journey has taught me the power of speaking up, listening without judgment, and supporting one another.
