Sustainability Advisor, John Holland / ESIP

Feaba Babu is a Sustainability Advisor with John Holland, working across some of Victoria's largest transport infrastructure projects. With a background in environmental engineering, she specialises in decarbonisation, circular economy and climate resilience, helping project teams turn ambitious sustainability commitments into practical and measurable outcomes. Feaba is currently the Sustainability Lead for the Ruthven Level Crossing Removal Project, driving sustainability outcomes across design, procurement and construction.

Previously, Feaba led the Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) Rating for the Maidstone Tram Maintenance Facility, which achieved the highest ISC v1.2 As-Built score awarded in Victoria. She has also contributed to sustainability delivery across the North Western Program Alliance, supporting the implementation of initiatives that reduce environmental impacts, improve resource efficiency and embed sustainability into project decision-making.

Beyond project delivery, Feaba is passionate about strengthening the sustainability profession and creating opportunities for emerging practitioners to connect, learn and grow. As Mentoring Lead for the Emerging Sustainable Infrastructure Professionals (ESIP) network, she coordinates mentoring programs, industry events and knowledge-sharing initiatives that support the next generation of sustainability leaders and foster greater collaboration across the infrastructure sector.
