Dr. Jai Ranganathan’s is the CEO and Founder of 3VIMA Pty Ltd. He has a Masters degree in Engineering, a Honorary Doctorate in Mechatronics in Construction and over 35 years of corporate experience. His vision for 3D concrete printing has the potential to transform affordable housing development in Australia.

By harnessing advanced technologies like AI, robotics, and large-scale 3D printing, he aims to address major industry challenges such as high construction costs and lengthy build times. This innovative approach enables homes to be constructed in a fraction of the traditional timeframe—sometimes in just weeks—significantly reducing labor and material expenses. As a result, more affordable homes can be built quickly to meet growing demand. Additionally, 3D printing allows for greater design flexibility, producing durable and aesthetically pleasing homes that challenge the negative perceptions often associated with low-cost housing.
