Doug Williamson
Doug Williamson has spent a near 30 year career in the rail industry, predominantly leading high performing teams involved in major projects in the UK, Australia and worldwide including West Coast Route Modernisation (UK), Crossrail (UK), Metro Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Project, Dubail Metro and AutoHaul((TM). As WSP lead for Rail in Victoria and Victoria, Doug has led a large team of rail engineers, designers and specialists that has played a key role in every large program of works in Victoria's Big Build including designers of the game changing Caulfield to Dandenong project, the Southern Program Alliance, Waurn Ponds Duplication and Stabling Facility and the aforementioned Metro Tunnel Project. Doug is an active promoter of inclusivity and diversity in the engineering industry, leading WSP Australia's Gender Balance group in Australia and taking a mentor role to several emerging leaders.
