David Brooks is a Director and Architect at Carr. As a key architectural team member, he is motivated by fine craftsmanship and detailing, bringing a distinctly human quality to the built outcome. He is motivated by enhancing user experience by designing from the inside out and considering the different functions of a space. With cross-sector experience and a diverse portfolio, David provides architectural expertise and rigour to unlock complex large-scale sites for urban rejuvenation. Having led successful multi residential, mixed use, commercial and hotel developments, he is highly adept at solving site constraints and uncovering a project's potential. His considered approach is typified by his ability to work at the macro and the micro in the early stages of the design process. David aims to bring an effortless, natural characteristic to each project that makes for comfortable, accessible and liveable spaces. Together with his commitment to client and user experience, projects are consistently brought to life in partnership and with integrity.
