David is a former Victoria Police Detective and a former member of the Australian Criminal
Intelligence Commission with over 15 years of law enforcement experience.
Throughout his career, David witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by police investigating
crimes, particularly the thousands of hours spent manually identifying, collecting, and reviewing CCTV footage from businesses and homes.
With his unique background in both law enforcement and technology, David founded the Safer Places Network, a public safety platform that surfaces vital community intelligence to support emergency services and improve response outcomes.
