Anna was appointed Chief Executive Officer at the Victorian Building Authority in June 2023, then Commissioner and CEO in March 2024.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Economics degree from the ANU, Anna’s career started as an economist in the Federal Government. She now has considerable experience in policy development and regulatory issues across many areas.

Her previous roles include CEO of the National Farmers' Federation, Senior Executive in the Victorian and Western Australian Governments, and she was appointed as Victoria's first Commissioner for Better Regulation in 2015.
Anna led the Victorian Government's review into planning and building approvals in 2019 and was appointed to chair the Expert Panel on Building Reform for the Victorian Government.
