
Angie Darby
Angie Darby is a property development professional with over a decade’s experience leading the delivery of complex, city-changing and iconic precinct developments, including the One Melbourne Quarter project, Two Melbourne Quarter, Melbourne Connect and “The Ribbon” project on Darling Harbour. Angie is also the Deputy Chair of the Property Council of Australia’s Precincts Committee, advocating for better precinct developments.
Angie’s passion is urban regeneration and innovation precincts, ensuring our built environments contribute positively to the lives of our communities and environment. In her role at Plenary Group, Angie is part of the property team focusing on social infrastructure, particularly partnerships with universities locally and globally. She is amongst the leadership team in Plenary’s partnership with La Trobe University delivering La Trobe’s $5bn University City vision for its 235-hectare Bundoora campus – transforming the campus into a vibrant, integrated innovation precinct supporting education, research, health, and commercial activity.
Angie studied a Master of Architecture / Bachelor of Property and Construction at the University of Melbourne and, under a Rhodes Scholarship, a Master of Environmental Science and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Oxford, allowing her a truly global view of sustainable social, environmental and economic development.
