Amy O’Connor is a Senior People & Culture Business Partner with UGL, with extensive experience partnering with leaders to build high-performing, inclusive workplaces across complex environments. Her expertise spans culture transformation, leadership capability, and the development of strategic talent pipelines that enable sustainable organisational performance.

Amy is particularly passionate about advancing gender equity and creating opportunities for women to thrive in leadership and management roles. Through her work, she supports organisations to embed inclusive practices, strengthen leadership capability, and build diverse talent pipelines that reflect the future of work.

Her experience sits at the intersection of people, culture, and strategy, with a growing focus on organisational development—bringing together culture, capability, and workforce planning as key enablers of effective organisational design.

In addition to her professional role, Amy is a Committee Member and former Vice President of NAWIC QLD (National Association of Women in Construction), where she contributes to initiatives that support, connect, and advocate for women across the industry.
