Amjid Ali is a senior technology executive, AI leader, speaker and educator with more than 25 years of experience across artificial intelligence, automation, cybersecurity, digital transformation, cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems and IT leadership.

He currently serves as AI Automation Lead at Dexterous Group, where he leads the design and adoption of AI agents, intelligent automation and secure enterprise workflows. His work focuses on helping organisations move from traditional automation to agentic AI while maintaining strong governance, data protection, security and human oversight.

Throughout his career, Amjid has held senior leadership positions including CIO, CTO, Group Head of IT, General Manager of IT and Head of Digital Transformation. He has led large-scale technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure, ERP, cloud and transformation programs across complex organisations.

Amjid is also an experienced speaker, corporate trainer and lecturer who has presented at CIO forums, technology conferences, leadership events and higher education platforms. His speaking areas include AI, cybersecurity, digital transformation, AI governance, automation, innovation and the future of work.

He is an n8n Community Ambassador in Melbourne, a Global CIO Forum Ambassador and Core Committee Member, a CIO Global Champion, and a CIO200 Award recipient. He holds various leadership and technology credentials.

Amjid is also a doctoral researcher, pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). His research examines how agentic automations can enhance business efficiency and organisational effectiveness, bridging academic rigour with real-world enterprise deployment.

As an educator and content creator, Amjid has trained more than 100,000 students through online learning platforms and reaches a global technology audience.
