Allan Klindworth
Allan Klindworth is an Associate Director - Sustainability and Resilience at AECOM. He has over 18 years of experience delivering complex, thought leading climate adaptation projects. He has worked with all levels of government as well as private sector organisations, helping them to understand the risks presented by the changing climate and to build their resilience through adaptation planning. This work has included assessing risks to existing asset portfolios and integrating consideration of climate change impacts into strategic planning and asset design processes.
Allan’s climate resilience experience includes the state-wide assessment of climate risks to Government infrastructure for Infrastructure Victoria and supporting the integration of climate resilience and sustainability policy into the delivery of major infrastructure projects, including Victoria’s Level Crossing Removal Project and the North East Link and West Gate Tunnel projects. Allan has also developed climate risk and adaptation frameworks and guidance for federal, state and international government agencies, including Austroads, USAID, the Australian Department of Defence, the former Australian Government Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency and the former Victorian Department of Transport.
