Alison is a Director of Sustainable Systems, working across the transport, energy, water, defence, manufacturing and mining industries. She specialises in developing strategies and action plans to minimise impacts, including carbon emissions, energy and water use and waste generation.

Alison has worked closely with a range of clients to help them understand the areas of sustainability where they can have the most impact and develop strategies to address barriers to implementation. Whilst seconded to Rail Projects Victoria she was responsible for embedding sustainability within 11 projects, promoting the reuse and recycling of materials and has worked with many of Melbourne’s councils to enhance their circular economy capability, with a focus on identifying ‘win-win’ opportunities.
