Alex Birch is the Co-Founder and CEO of XY Sense, a workplace occupancy intelligence company helping the world's largest organisations understand and act on how their offices are really used. XY Sense's privacy first sensors and analytics platform deliver highly accurate, real time occupancy data to property, workplace and technology teams across the globe.

Alex previously co-founded Serraview, an enterprise workplace and real estate management SaaS platform, and led its APAC operations before the business was acquired. He has spent close to two decades building software and hardware for enterprise real estate and workplace teams, and is a repeat proptech entrepreneur and engineer by trade.

Alex is passionate about the intersection of data, office utilisation and workplace experience, and regularly shares first party research and field experience from XY Sense's global customer base of enterprise occupiers.
