Statement: As a Master of Construction Management student with a background in architecture and experience in student industry engagement, I’m passionate about shaping a more inclusive, diverse, and mentally supportive construction industry. As a woman in construction, I understand the importance of visibility and representation. I aim to inspire more women to lead and grow within the industry. I also believe that embracing cultural and professional diversity drives better project outcomes and stronger collaboration on site. Mental health is often overlooked in high-pressure environments like construction. I advocate for open dialogue and stronger support systems to ensure wellbeing is prioritized alongside productivity. Being an ambassador at the Melbourne Build Expo 2025 would allow me to champion these causes, connect with like-minded professionals, and contribute to an industry culture that values people as much as progress.
