Ahsan Ahmed is currently working as a Security Engineering lead at Chemist Warehouse / Sigma Healthcare, with extensive experience across cybersecurity engineering, security operations, architecture, governance, and risk management.

Throughout his career, Ahsan has delivered and led security initiatives across industries including healthcare, banking, defence, education, NFP and retail. His expertise spans threat detection and response, identity and access management, data protection, vulnerability management, security monitoring, and regulatory compliance.

Ahsan has played a key role in major security transformation programs, including XDR and SIEM implementation, FW migration, identity platform modernisation, data classification and protection, and enterprise security control uplift. In previous roles, he managed organisation-wide cybersecurity programs, including achieving ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC2 certification and strengthening Essential Eight, NIST and DISP maturity across organisations.

He holds a Bachelor of Networking specialising in Cyber Security, alongside industry certifications across Microsoft Azure, Identity and Access Management, Microsoft 365, Palo Alto and the Essential Eight. Ahsan is passionate about translating complex security challenges into practical outcomes that strengthen organisational resilience and enable secure business operations.
