With more than 14 years’ experience championing diversity, inclusion and social value, Abbey is passionate about driving meaningful cultural change and believes that infrastructure can make a genuine difference in a communities’ social fabric through the execution of innovative, industry-leading initiatives that are aligned to government policy. A collaborative and transparent leader, her work across major infrastructure projects in Victoria and South Australia has seen her create a more inclusive and equitable environment for her teams and colleagues while achieving the highest standard of outcomes in relation to workforce development, community engagement, social and Indigenous engagement as well as employment programs for disadvantaged job seekers.

In her current role at CPB Contractors, Abbey is focused on harnessing the construction industry’s potential to champion better environmental practices and sustainability initiatives while genuinely bettering the lives of those who work in the sector and those who are impacted by it.
