ESIP is an industry led representative network group for Emerging Sustainability Infrastructure Professionals that work in the Australian built environment & infrastructure sector.

ESIP members are early/mid-career professionals (typically 0-10 years' experience), who are establishing their career in the sustainability field.

The group facilitates member networking events, supports professional development opportunities and advocates for Sustainability in Infrastructure. Established in 2023, ESIP has over 150 members. Membership, joining events and our programs are voluntary and free; with the aim of fostering more open cross project collaboration across the infrastructure industry.

ESIP has local member networks in Vicotria, New South Wales and Queensland with future expansion into South Australia in 2027. All groups are led by Sustainability professionals in industry on a volunteer basis.

Given the criticality for climate action, the construction industry must act rapidly and leverages early career workforce to drive innovative sustainable solutions. ESIP aims to be a united front for sustainability professionals in the infrastructure industry. Through their programs, the group aims to empower emerging Sustainability professionals through facilitating networking and professional development opportunities. 

Sustainability is becoming an important topic in all industries. ESIP is the support network for the young talent brought on to solve these issues.
