Australian Refrigeration Council
The Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) is the industry board for Australia’s refrigeration and air conditioning sector. It administers the ARCtick licensing scheme on behalf of the Australian Government and supports the sector through regulation, technical expertise, training quality and industry support services.
The ARCtick licensing scheme covers more than 114,000 technicians and businesses that work on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment using ozone-depleting substances or synthetic greenhouse gases.
The ARC delivers the scheme through a co-regulatory model with industry and government. Its member organisations represent the diverse parts of the climate control industry, including the stationary and automotive sectors.
