435 Bourke St. A $1bn sustainable office development with “solar skin” facade.☀️
From developer Cbus Property and designed by Bates Smart, 435 Bourke Street is a cutting-edge commercial tower under construction.
The tower will comprise approx 62,000 square metres of office space across 48 levels, with 1,300 square metres of retail space, 116 car parking spaces, a sky garden and multiple landscaped open-air terraces.
The “vertical village” will hold more than 5,500 city workers.
435 Bourke is designed to achieve Net Zero Carbon in operation, with 20% of its electricity requirements generated on site by its solar skin design. The rest powered by off-site renewable electricity.
