VLOG Well-Being in Construction: Expert Strategies to Support Mental Health

Mental health is a growing focus within the construction industry — an environment known for its high demands, long hours, and complex safety challenges. Supporting the wellbeing of those who build our cities isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s essential for safety, productivity, and long-term industry sustainability.

As part of Melbourne Build’s Mental Health in Construction initiative, we spoke with one of our dedicated ambassadors — Mabble Munyimani, a mental health and leadership resilience expert — to gain insights from her experience working with high-pressure industries.

In this interview, Mabble discusses her motivation for championing mental health in construction, effective strategies organisations can use to support wellbeing, and the crucial role leadership plays in creating psychologically safe and high-performing teams.
